Freelance Movie Review
Freelance is a solid action comedy that benefits from outstanding character performances, particularly from Juan Pablo Raba. The film clearly draws inspiration from The Lost City, substituting hit jobs and journalists for artifacts and authors. The cast has chemistry, and the dialogue flows well. Some sequences appear forced, which detracts from the overall tale. However, the twists are usually unique and provide an intriguing plot.
Basically, I enjoyed seeing this film, but I don’t see myself viewing it again for a long time. It fulfilled its function, which was to occupy me for around two hours.
